We’ve seen firsthand how challenging it can be to collect reviews on Walmart, mainly because the infrastructure has not always been there. But things are changing. In Q3, Walmart became more flexible in how it collects and syndicates reviews.
For example, as shown in the screenshot below, only 1 out of 4 products has a review—and it is just a single 5-star rating. While positive, one review alone is not enough to build strong customer trust or meaningfully influence buying decisions.
Here’s what’s new:
- Review Syndication Program: You can now import reviews from Shopify, BigCommerce, or your D2C website directly into Walmart. This is a major opportunity for brands that want to build credibility and trust faster.
- Field Agent Partnership: Walmart has also partnered with Field Agent, making it easier to gather authentic reviews that appear on your product pages.
If you are looking to grow your Walmart reviews and improve product visibility, I highly recommend checking out the Walmart Review Syndication Program.
