Why Getting a Trademark in 2024 is Easier Than Ever (But Still Takes Time)
In 2024, it’s easier and more affordable than ever to get a trademark in the United States compared to just 10 years ago. The process has become more streamlined, and the cost has dropped, making it accessible to more entrepreneurs.
However, there’s still a catch: receiving your official trademark certificate can take over a year. That’s why it’s important to get started as soon as possible.
Amazon also offers a Brand Accelerator Program that helps sellers get started more quickly with Brand Registry.
This article will help you understand the process and the steps needed to move forward. We’ll focus on what a brand-new seller needs to do.
Steps: 3 Easy Steps
- File the trademark application through a lawyer.
- Submit the trademark application to Amazon’s IP department.
- The lawyer will send a PDF document to the seller. The seller will then need to register the brand on Amazon Brand Registry using the lawyer’s PDF.
Kenneth I. Gross & Assoc. will send you a PDF 👍
Kenneth and Associates will send you a PDF with all the trademark information. You will use that PDF or its information to submit your brand application.
Tip: Use the same login for Amazon Seller Central and Amazon Brand Registry, while keeping in mind that they are two different platforms.
